About the Society
This society was formed by a group of local enthusiasts in 1993 and it rapidly developed in size and stature. We cater for bonsai enthusiasts across North Wales and beyond. Our membership includes complete novices up to those with decades of experience. Several are professional horticulturalists and can give expert advice and assistance at our meetings.
We have become successful in many aspects of bonsai, with our annual shows giving everyone a chance to exhibit their achievements. Entries of quality trees to national shows has brought recognition of our group of enthusiasts at the UK level.
Our Club display was judged best in show at the National Bonsai Society by Peter Adams. In that year we also won four of the five individual categories.
Among the members we have lifelong horticulturalists, three authors who have contributed to specialist bonsai magazines and a finalist in the UK's new talent competition.
