Meeting Details
New members are always welcome and your FIRST MEETING IS FREE We meet at Green Dragon Bonsai on the second Sunday of the month at 6.00 p.m till 8p.m. There's a MAP here . Membership costs £20 per year and a subscription of £2 per meeting includes refreshments and a monthly newsletter. (£10 per year/£1 each night for unwaged/OAP/disabled). Joint membership available at same rates, ie Wife/Husband Father/Son fall under single memberships
There is a raffle table, with plentiful prizes each month. There is usually a display of mature bonsai specimens. We have a varied programme of well-known speakers and workshops. Novices are well catered for with a training programme run in parallel to the main meetings. The programme also includes regular visits to shows, bonsai nurseries and garden visits. We also have our very own trader/member who operates Green Dragon Bonsai and sells a wide selection of trees, pots, wire and tools. The A.G.M. is in January of each year. Details of the 2010 program are as follows. There is no meeting in December as we have our Christmas social that month.
